As a result, we have implemented temporary changes in the Affordable Housing Professionals certificate renewal process. It will offer a limited number of in-person courses that will be confined to topics that require on-site instruction, including clinical health care, lab classes, and fine arts performance. The remaining nine hours are accrued from electives approved by CGS and AHPNJ.Nontraditional development opportunities for housing authorities and redevelopment agencies are explored in this one-day course, including housing provided under the state’s Mount Laurel requirements. If a certificate is not renewed, it expires. Strategies for developing housing within a wide range of are discussed, and the household income levels established by various federal and state programs are described.
