It allowed an amazing opportunity and home to me and many other underprivileged students of color in the area.Moving from London to NYC - an international school with a diverse population was essential. Not only that, but there is a lot of interactions within students that happens within the classroom, therefore students aren't just staring at textbooks or working independently (although there is designated time for that).
