As someone who is not educated about Ramadan, I wouldn't use this as a single source of information. I enjoyed reading this book as the author builds up the excitement of Ramadan and the celebrations of Eid which is felt throughout the book. I loved the illustrations that captured the month long celebration. And I know more about Ramadan now than I did before...but I don't think I know enough. Lots of beautiful artwork.This book is a perfect way to introduce the Muslim culture to students. The idea of fasting during the day and praying at night is made clear in this book.
