In fact, Joker is the main protagonist of this miniseries. He has to be up there with Ribic as my fave artists. This is hands down my favorite Batman graphic novel, even above The Dark Knight Returns. The series spans eight issues and was published monthly in 2017 and 2018 by DC Comics. This just didn't work for me, it is too long, political, preachy and tedious to finish, not the kind of Batman story I like to read.I was on the fence about this title when first released but glad I gave it a go. This is an instant classic and it makes just about every other current comic look like amateur hour.

This book felt much more grown up, more detailed and dover into darker places than the past Batman books i've read. (Update) Sequel inbound, currently ongoing from 9/10/19 Sean Murphy is currently working on the sequel to this and has already released a few issues. The title is Curse of the White Knight.
