Told me to give it 30min. I too can connect for the free 30 minutes. I have spent a total of 3-4 hours with support explaining the issue to 5-6 people.
We guess my account still as Bright House and can not login into Spectrum Wifi Hotspots. That if it doesn't let me then just follow the prompts when making a new account. Someone probably did this in a fit of rage after being fired. Again, in one Spectrum hotspot I typed a wrong password on purpose, immediately got "wrong userid/password". If you don’t have it already, download it from the App store or Google Play. You may be asked to sign in with your Spectrum credentials again. A friend from Miami is actually having the same issue, I think the problem is much bigger than we can imagine. Now that you know how to use the Spectrum hotspot network, you can access high-speed internet on the move! I have never once been able to connect to a SpectrumWifi/CableWifi hotspot. So, it was solid confirmation that the error is not on the HotSpot Wifi router, connection, my cell phone or other, it is solid confirmation that exist a problem with my account settings that Spectrum doesn't like in some way, but accept in other, creating the connection error, without specific error message. I have checked known good APs running the various Spectrum/CableWi-Fi ssids.
