Told me to give it 30min. I too can connect for the free 30 minutes. I have spent a total of 3-4 hours with support explaining the issue to 5-6 people.

We guess my account still as Bright House and can not login into Spectrum Wifi Hotspots. That if it doesn't let me then just follow the prompts when making a new account. Someone probably did this in a fit of rage after being fired. Again, in one Spectrum hotspot I typed a wrong password on purpose, immediately got "wrong userid/password". If you don’t have it already, download it from the App store or Google Play. You may be asked to sign in with your Spectrum credentials again. A friend from Miami is actually having the same issue, I think the problem is much bigger than we can imagine. Now that you know how to use the Spectrum hotspot network, you can access high-speed internet on the move! I have never once been able to connect to a SpectrumWifi/CableWifi hotspot. So, it was solid confirmation that the error is not on the HotSpot Wifi router, connection, my cell phone or other, it is solid confirmation that exist a problem with my account settings that Spectrum doesn't like in some way, but accept in other, creating the connection error, without specific error message. Also, the fact that my cell phone can access the internet via Spectrum Hotspot via 30 minutes free time, it means there is no problem all over my side, Spectrum side and internet, the problem is really focused on the Spectrum Customer authentication, userid/password.

How make Spectrum understand this and go after the real issue?That is likely the private certificate used for SSL on the captive portal. I have checked known good APs running the various Spectrum/CableWi-Fi ssids. Been many months and every single one of them fails with "Network Error"I did all kinds of resets and tricks on the android phone, thinking maybe there is a problem in it, but my friends did some tests, and worse, this same phone can (YES) connect through a Spectrum hotspot if I choose "GUEST" and try the 30 minutes free connection, with no userid/password authentication. -JBHello, our apologies for the delayed response, we’d be happy to assist if still needed.
