Here is Kenneth Ralston’s obituary. He was also predeceased by the dogs he loved over the years: Fancy, Shaggy, Dopey, Maggie, Misty, Sweetie and Jack. Ken worked on the ferry boats that traveled between New York and New Jersey during his summers off from college and never lost the bug for boating the rest of his life. For his second career after retirement, Ken along with his wife Sue, was successful in business, owning H&R Block franchises in Whitehall and Fort Plain, N.Y. Ken and Sue also shared a love of traveling the country and the world when school was out for summer or it wasn't tax season.

A graduate of Trenton State College and Seton Hall University, Ken taught and coached football at Memorial High School in West New York, N.J., before accepting a head coaching job at Ravena Coeymans Selkirk, where he also taught business for 25 years and coached track, golf, and skiing.
